I took the shot of this lovely little creature in the Myddleton House Gardens, Enfield, London.
He was very quick flitting here and there and I nearly fell into the pond trying to shoot him but I didn’t give up and finally captured this lovely dragonfly.

I entered the shot into a local photographic competition 2007 with my council and won the first prize, a digital camera which I gave it to my wife so that she could start taking better shots.
